Like to try new things? Be sure not to miss this tasting. St. Mayhem has created brand new beverages that combine classic wine making with modern craft beer techniques. Cavalier Distributors will be pouring “wines aged on wild ingredients” including: White Wine on Habanero and Jalapeño Peppers, White Wine aged on Peach and Ginger, and Red Wine aged on Coffee and Jalapeño Peppers.

5 Italian Wines for Summer Sipping: Soligo Prosecco Brut, Mormoraia Vernaccia Di San Gimignano 2014, Brigaldara Valpolicella Classico 2013, Dante Rivetti Barbera D'Alba 'Mara' 201, Cascina Chicco Langhe Nebbiolo 2014. There is a dry crisp sparkling, dry crisp white, a light red (Pinot Like), medium-lush style, and one with a little more tannin for those who still want a bit of astringency. These wines are perfect for sipping on hot summer days and long summer nights, all back yard bbq's and the grilled fair served, family get together and summer holidays.

Type: Dry Red Wine

History:
This Côtes du Rhône takes its name from the 45th North parallel which runs two kilometres from the cellars of Maison Paul Jaboulet Aîné. In the village of Pont de l’Isère, a monument symbolises this line with the inscription: “the South begins here”. Our wine has had this name since the beginning of the 1950s.

Grape Variety:
60% Grenache ; 40% Syrah.

Tasting:
Colour: Deep colour with an attractive brilliance.
Bouquet:  Elegant and aromatic, with red fruits blended with spices.
Palate: Well-structured on rounded tannins, with a final spicy note.
