YeeHaw! River Paddle. Saturday, May 14th. 9:00am-finish. Saxapahaw. A benefit for the Haw River Trail featuring a Family & Beginners' Paddle and the YeeHaw! River Paddle. Learn more and register here.

Beekeeping: The Foxfire Way & Now. Saturday, May 21st. 1:00pm-4:00pm. Cedarock Historical Farm. Learn about Beekeeping past and present. Free & open to the public. Learn more.

Create a Nature Journal. Saturday, June 4th. 9:00am-10:30am. Shallow Ford Natural Area Observation Deck. Learn about nature journals and start your own! Materials provided. Free & open to ages 16+. Learn more or sign up here.

Special Olympics Bark in the Park 5K Run/Walk. Saturday, June 11th. 9:00am. Gibson Park, High Point. Proceeds support Special Olympics Guilford County and Greensboro, and Special Olympics Alamance County. Learn more and sign up here.

Special Olympics Spring Games 2016 was a great success! Thank you to everyone who came out to volunteer and support the event, which served more than 350 special needs athletes. You can see photos from the Games on the SOAC Facebook Page (www.facebook.com/SOAlamance).
