NOW LET’S GET IN FORMATION

Tomorrow, thousands of Wolverines will don their caps and gowns and march into the Big House to both mourn and celebrate the end of an incredible chapter of their lives ...

Young Alumni Tumblr Post

i slay

And today, it might hit you that it’s already been a year since that day, and you’ll feel ... old?! But never fear, friends! Adulthood is a social construct anyway. Plus, in a post for the Young Alumni Tumblr, your fellow 2015 grad Jessica Golden shares her take on how to slay as a Wolverine in the real world.

Aliens and Alternate Universes

KEEP YOUR MONEY, I GOT MY OWN

E.T. probably exists somewhere, but maybe not in our universe. In fact, E.T.’s universe might be even more habitable than our own. Hold up—what? And, also, the 47% of Americans who actually don’t have money in the bank, even if they look the part.

FREEDOM, FREEDOM, WHERE ARE YOU

The Man is trying to stop people from taking selfies at the voting booth, and I, for one, feel wronged. I mean, if I want to snap myself doing my public duty, I ain’t sorry. And, apparently, neither is Snapchat.

BECKY WITH THE GOOD HAIR

Was this week’s newsletter inspired by Queen Bey? Yes. Yes it was. Because, unless you’ve been living under a rock, you know that Beyonce’s “Lemonade” is some black woman magic that serves as a fierce, ~flawless~ statement on issues of race, gender, and infidelity. I’m def jealous of these 2016 grads who get “Lemonade” as the anthem to their graduation.

The Friday Bluebook

Which image best describes your emotions on commencement day? (Click your choice below.)

Peace Sad Ready

How did you do on the last bluebook? More than half (51%) of you guessed the correct image: the Ruthven Building, named after U-M’s 7th president. Honestly, pretty shocked y’all did that well. The other two images were of the law library (22% of guesses) and Rackham auditorium (27% of guesses)—neither of which are named after a U-M president, sorry.
