Kinsler's game-tying double

Games played April 28, 2016

Detroit 2B Ian Kinsler singled, stroked a game-tying RBI double, and walked in a 7-3 win over Oakland. The outburst raised his batting average to .345, second only to Baltimore's Mark Trumbo.

Milwaukee RF Ryan Braun saw his 8-game hitting streak end in a 7-2 loss to the Cubs, but he managed to draw a walk and steal a base. His .352 batting average ranks 7th in the National League.

Dodgers CF Joc Pederson went 0-for-2 in a 5-3 loss to Miami. He was pulled for a pinch-hitter in the 7th inning.

The Blue Jays and CF Kevin Pillar did not play.

We're awaiting word on the condition of Reds starter Jon Moscot, whose non-throwing shoulder was x-rayed after Wednesday's outing.

Athletics 3B Danny Valencia remains on the disabled list with an injured hamstring.
