Dear Praying Friend,

Graduation is now officially over, with more than twenty students sent out to minister. The transient ministry of a college means many goodbyes, but it is delightful to see them equipped to serve more effectively. Please pray that God will use these graduates powerfully as they establish life patterns and adjust to new ministries.

Pastoring at Gilarmi

God blessed us with a wonderful turnout at our recent evangelistic sports rally. This time even more children attended and quite a good number of teens—around 150 total. All heard the gospel clearly preached, followed by personal counseling. Quite a number made some type of profession and our church has seen some definite increased contacts as a result, even with some attending our VBS.
We also recently finished an extended series on the book of Daniel. This brings us now to the last month before transition of pastoral leadership. Lord-willing and on the church's recommendation, a BJMBC graduate who grew up at Gilarmi will take over at Gilarmi. Please pray that Brother Raf will have wisdom and that the Lord will use him powerfully in ministry. We also ask your prayers for the remaining weeks as we are currently holding our VBS and look forward to three baptisms.

Bob Jones Memorial Bible College

The last semester of teaching was very full, both in joys and opportunities. I enjoyed teaching Exposition, Bible Doctrines 2, Greek 2, and Biblical Theology. Next semester I will be teaching Daniel and Revelation, Bible Doctrines 3, Systematic Theology 2, and Revelation in Greek. I'm excited about the schedule and solicit your prayers for effectiveness in preparing and communicating these courses.

We also look forward to teaching short courses or ministering in South Manila, Baguio, Bicol, Singapore, and Dubai. Please pray for safety and strength, both for preparation and the teaching itself.

I've also been able to organize an upcoming missions conference at BJMBC for youth. This is a major undertaking, with over 500 in attendance last time. We need much wisdom for planning and we're praying that God will use this conference to burden many young people with the privilege of serving in missions.
While preparing for future classes, the book of Revelation has been much on my mind recently. As I've studied the letters to the seven churches, I've found myself asking what Jesus Christ, the One with eyes like flames of fire, would say to the church at Gilarmi. Or what would He say if He came and inspected my life? Because every day He is—nothing is hidden from His eyes. May He be able to say of us, "only hold fast what you have until I come."
Thank you so much for your encouragement and your prayers!

and Caroline Arnold
