The Ports & Yachting Directorate, Transport Malta, notifies mariners that in connection with underwater sea trials being held on the 3rd May 2016 between 1300 – 1500, the area of Rinella Bay as indicated in the chart attached, shall be restricted.
Mariners are to note the above and contact Valletta Port Control (Valletta VTS) for instructions prior to any navigation in the vicinity of this area on this date and between the hours noted above.
Any instructions issued by Valletta Port Control (Valletta VTS) and the Maritime Security Enforcement Unit / Ports Inspectorate Unit are to be complied with.
