2nd Quarter

I hope you all are enjoying the change in season. I've got just a few things that I'd like  to cover in this newsletter.

First, I want to make sure that all our sponsors received their student letter and if you have not received it, please let me know and I will make sure it gets to you. Also, I'll be traveling to Nicaragua in June with the Edmond mission team and if you would like to send a card or letter to your student I can take it with me at that time. I know they would really enjoy hearing from their sponsors.

Secondly, this year our students are learning basic English every Saturday at the tutoring center (pictured above). Last year they went through a computer course for beginners and this year they decided to focus on English. This is a once in a lifetime opportunity for most of these kids to learn these skills and it will help set them apart when they continue their studies or seek employment in the future. I am told that the younger kids are acquiring these skills quicker than the older students. 

Finally, I've attached a link to a video I made earlier this year for our sponsors to get a small glimpse of what life is like in Nicaragua and to show their appreciation for what you all do for them.
