  • Am I considered a "FARM?"
  • How will this effect my CSA?
  • Will this affect my insurance as a buyer of raw agricultural products?

Some of you may be new to what we are and what we do; If you are interested in sustainable agriculture or grow food for your community, we invite you to join us and meet others in the area with a similar passion. There is currently no membership fees for being a part of this network--but good attitudes and interest in learning is appreciated. These meetings are only open to current or future farmers. If you are not a farmer or current network member, please contact Chuck or Andrew before attending.

The Georgia Mountains Farmers Network is a group of local and sustainable farmers throughout the Northeast Georgia region (including neighboring states) working to collaborate on projects that help increase the impact of local foods in the region. Our projects include: field days for members to visit and share ideas among other sustainably-minded growers, our two-day public event called the Georgia Mountains Farm Tour happening June 25-26, and a year-round online Farmers market. We invite you to be a part of updating priorities for this network and offer ways to strengthen the farming community in this region, but our main goal is to allow an opportunity for learning from one another.
