May Bike Month Events

We are pleased to announce a workshop series just in time for Bike Month(May) and Bike to Work Day (May 19th, 2016).  Two classroom workshops will be held in the week preceeding Bike to Work Week (May 16-20).

You have two chances to interact with bicycle commuters (Tuesday, May 10 or Thursday, May 12).   The content of the classroom workshops will be identical, so choose only one because classroom space is limited. Please RSVP via email to walkbikeglendale@gmail.com.

Following the classroom workshops, we are hosting two bike rides.  The first bike ride (Sunday, May 15) will be a feeder ride to CicLAvia.  The second bike ride (Saturday, May 21) will pass through Los Angeles to North Hollywood and back to Glendale.

The total distance of each bike ride is 30-45 miles of which only 10-15 miles is actual bicycle riding.  Metrolink (commuter rail) and Metro (light rail) trains will help us cover the remaining 20-30 miles.  Bikecar101 will pay for tickets for all transit riders.  We can accommodate larger groups for the bike rides, and because they are unique you can definitely join us for both bike rides, but please let us know if you will be there.

These educational events are FREE so please mark your calendars~!  Participants who RSVP will also receive a free Bikecar101 T-shirt.
