Following on from our last newsletter, I'd like to thank everyone who sent me photos of your recent finished projects. Please do keep them coming! I will try and use them all eventually!
This is a little child's cardigan that Judy knitted. The yarn she used was Rico's Baby Classic DK, which is probably our most popular baby yarn as it has a good range of colours and is a good price. The pattern is a Sirdar pattern, sadly no longer available.

I think it is one of my favourite collections in the shop at the moment and we have a lady currently on one of our courses, who is making a log cabin quilt with a Wordsmith jelly roll. Everyone is admiring it!
We have a fabulous new panel from Makower to make a Pirate themed toy tidy. Sew on pockets (as you do for their advent calendars) for your children to stuff their toys into and hang it in their bedroom.
We have some new additions to the Melly and Me family, including Buddy the teddy bear (an ideal sewing project for beginners), Sammie the Squirrel and Oink Oink!
