New guide released: Best Advice – Physicians Remuneration in a Patient’s Medical Home
As part of the CFPC’s ongoing advocacy for the Patient’s Medical Home,
the Remuneration Best Advice Guide, aims to support family physicians and policy decision makers with information on how a remuneration model can address different community needs, and the outcomes associated with the models in different scenarios.

For the first time, our Best Advice Guide is also accompanied by a one page quick reference summary, that distills the essence of the paper for a quick and easy read.

On April 14, 2016 the federal government introduced legislation to provide medical assistance in dying.

The CFPC is pleased the government is taking steps to define Medical Aid in Dying. The CFPC continues to find ways to support family physicians with respect to physician-assisted dying, issuing a
Guide on Ethical Reflection.
The CFPC is committed to supporting its members through education and guidance to ensure that there are well-defined universal standards that govern physician-assisted dying. Read more here.
