Hi <<First Name>>! I hope you are GREAT!
THIS IS A HUGE EMAIL WITH LOTS OF GREAT INFO ABOUT THIS LAST MONTH OF SCHOOL & SUMMER! I am SO EXCITED about this summer! It was last years summer that I really got to know everyone on a deeper level and I know this summer will be the same!
Wednesday Nights: We have tonight and 2 more Wednesday nights (11th & 18th) before summer break! Over the Summer we will have Wednesday Night Bible Study from 5-7 on June 8, July 6, July 20, and July 27!
Sunday Nights: We only have 2 Sunday nights left before summer break! This Sunday is our Serve Sunday. I know its Mother's Day but if at all possible bring the whole family to come serve the homeless! We will meet at the church at 3 and be back by 7! If you want to drive seperately please be at Richards Memorial by 3:45.
Sunday, May 15 will be our last Sunday night before Summer break! Over the summer we will only meet on Sunday nights on the 2nd Sunday for Serve Day (June 12 & July 10) and on 4th Sunday Fundays (June 26 & July 24).
Senior Sunday (May 22): Our youth praise teams will be leading in worship, I'll be preaching, and we will honor our graduating seniors! I currently only know about Nikki Roberts, Willow Foxworth, Jacob McClure, and Caleb Shaffer who are graduating. If you know of other graduating High School Seniors please tell them or their parents to reach out to me!
End of School Retreat: Our summer will kick off with an End of School Retreat to Camp Koinonia up on Juniper River! We will swim, tube, worship, play water kickball, have camp fires, and so much more for 3 days and 2 night May 28 - May 30! I hope you can join us and please sign up here.
Summer Wilderness Paddle: Our High School Week is June 13-June 17 and our Middle School Week is July 11-July 15! We have lowered the price this year to $200 in hopes that more youth can enjoy this EPIC trip! Please sign up here!
We will NOT do the Wilderness Paddle as our Summer Camp for 2017 or 2018 so don't miss this summer as it might be your last chance, especially if you are an older youth!
Week of Love/Back to School Retreat COMBO (August 1-7): We will be living in a lodge at Cloudland Canyon State Park (GA) just south of Chatanooga, TN. Half of the week will be spent on mission in the innercity of Chatanooga and the other half of the week we will be doing recreational activities like white water rafting the Ocoee river! I hope you can join us! $150 is the cost of the trip!
Youth Center Work Application: We are looking for a few students to help around the youth center. Not only will you get to help take care of this great center but you'll get some money credited towards your trip account. To apply to help please click here.
The St. Luke missions committee for the entire church, chaired by Pastor Dan Nigolian has asked if any High School youth would like to serve on the Missions Committee. They meet on the 3rd Monday of every month at 6:30 in room 23. Pastor Dan's email is dankathn2@yahoo.com. Please email him if you are interested in serving in this capacity!
