About: The Actuarial Sciences Association will be hosting Loren Nickel, who is the chief actuary at Google and the former President of the Casualty Actuary Society of the Bay Area. He will be coming by to discuss what it means to be an actuary in Silicon Valley.
To get the most benefit out of this event, please familiarize yourself with the actuarial field and bring meaningful questions. This is an amazing opportunity to get your questions answered by an extremely, extremely accomplished professional in the field!

About: iidata is a one-day, collegiate-level Data Science convention aimed at educating students in the new, thrilling field of data science. We welcome all students, regardless of background knowledge, so long as you have a mindset to never stop learning.
