Staff Auditor
A staff auditor's duties will include a variety of duties, which may include field engagements involving audits, accounting, or tax services. In addition, he/she may also be given in-house assignments such as accounting research projects, preparation of tax schedules and worksheets for clients, office administration, proofreading, etc. It is expected that the staff auditor will quickly become familiar with the firm's organization and the services we offer to our clients. Both attendance at training programs and review of different publications will help explain these matters, as well as covering professional, administrative and personnel areas. Although specific responsibilities may vary according to the size and type of an engagement, the staff auditor will be performing an important function for the firm.
Responsibilities:
- Preparation of work papers
- Adherence to firm's policies and all FASB, AICPA, SEC, GAO and GASB pronoucements
- Analyze monitor and communicate ongoing results of projects to members of senior management
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting
0-1 years of public accounting experience
