Susie has given birth to a healthy baby girl. Beatrice is a little sister to Wilhelmina and as my stable of daughters grows, as does my anxiety about dowries. I think a few head of cattle is still the going rate?
We were blown away by the new Parkes hospital maternity ward (AKA Sheraton on the Parkes). The birth was a long and difficult process- an impressive display of endurance, strength and courage. But that's enough about me. I should also commend my wife on a job well done.
