Start doing a little bench racing with a group of people, and before long, you'll start to hear excuses like "I don't get it out anymore, it drives like a log wagon" or "We don't go to many shows, because the wife can't stand the ride".  If you've said those things about your own project, we can help!  Suspension is just one of those things that some people don't think about, even though it is THE most integral part in having an enjoyable car.  Don't let your project hide away in the garage; it was meant to be driven, and we can help you get it back on the road comfortably and safely!  We love our racing here at RideTech, but we also love a leisurely cruise on a warm spring day or heading to a benefit car show just as much; no matter what the budget or project plan, we can help.  Our knowledgeable staff are available by phone Monday-Friday, 8AM-6PM; give us a call at 912-481-4787, we'll help you get a game plan together to get you riding better than ever before!

RideTech LOVES Corvettes!

FULL COILOVER SYSTEM

We have full Coilover suspension systems for nearly all generations of the Corvette!  The Coilovers are built with our quality monotube shocks in HQ or TQ configurations, and paired with our superior Made-In-The-USA Hyperco coils.  When applicable, the kit will also include our strength-adding MuscleBars, TruTurn system, and StrongArms.  The Coilover system is easy to install and can greatly enhance your vehicle's performance and ride quality.  Whether you're just looking for a weekend cruiser or an all-out track car, we can get you what you need!
MUSCLEBARS

The New MUSCLEbarâ„¢ sway bars were developed specifically for lowered vehicles and will greatly enhance the cornering performance of your car or truck. (Not to mention they'll also make some vehicles safer at the speeds we travel on today's interstate highways.)

Increased bar diameters, polyurethane bushings, and appropriate attachment links all add up to a sway bar package that is designed to work correctly with your car and driving style.
STRONGARMS

The rear suspension system utilizes an offset trailing arm with a “trussed” design which allows maximum tire width while providing the utmost in strength.  The rear trailing arm is outfitted with a rubber bushing in the standard configuration to mitigate
NVH, while a bearing option is offered that provides the maximum in handling performance.  When combined with the tubular rear cross member, the trailing arms place the coil overs to the rear of the axle for better motion ratio and damping control while providing additional height adjustment via the movable lower coil over mounts. The new strut rods utilize Teflon lined
heim joints which are repositioned on the axle end  to maximize suspension geometry and provide adjustability without needing to be removed.
 TRU-TURN SYSTEM

The TruTurn system reduces
bumpsteer to under 0.060” and increases steering response by relocating the inner tie rods and replacing the outer tie rods with Teflon lined heim joints.  New billet aluminum steering arms are supplied that correct the Ackerman which results in a vehicle with amazing turn in and steering feel.
StrongArm tubular control arms not only improve suspension geometry and handling, they also make installation even easier. The added benefit when replacing control arms is new bushings and ball joints. No more worn out components.

STEERING BOXES

The Delphi 600 represents the latest generation of integral power steering gearbox technology with true modern power steering feel, feedback and a sporty 12.7:1 ratio. Borgeson has remanufactured this box to bolt directly to the factory mounting location and to fit the stock pitman arm. The factory column will need to be collapsed or shortened approximately 2.5” for clearance of conversion box.
BRAKE SYSTEMS

Baer systems include stainless steel brake hoses as well as calipers that have D.O.T compliant dust and weather seals. Quality SKF or Timken bearings used, along with NAS
high grade stainless hardware for the pre-assembled 2-piece rotor.  The 6S and 6R (R-Spec) calipers are Baer's Flagship
offering, and are built out of a single piece of US sourced 2618 forged aluminum.
DELRIN BUSHING KIT

These Delrin
bushings eliminate control arm shift common with factory bushings.  The reduction in deflection creates more consistent and predictable handling.  They are designed to resist binding at extreme alignment settings.  Machined from Delrin, they replace all 16 control arm bushings.

Suspension choices for classic Corvettes have historically been either just a pair of upgraded shocks, or a full chassis.  That's why RideTech came up with a fully-bolt-on solution!  Watch these videos to learn more than you ever thought you'd need!

DRIVER: Gary Flentge

CAR: 2000 Corvette

DETAILS: LS1/T56 6spd; RideTech SA shocks, C6 Z51 swaybars, endlinks, monoleaf

DRIVER INFO: Gary has had this car for exactly one year, and obtained it as a replacement to his 1978 Z28.  He loves the LS power and performance, great track and auto-x manners, and that it still makes 30+ MPG with AC on the highway!  He will be enjoying some seat time, spending time with friends and fellow motorsports enthusiasts, and seeing some beautiful country in our United States.

DRIVER: Eric Fleming

CAR: 1971 Corvette

DETAILS: GMPP LS3 / Silver Sport TKO-600; RideTech Level 2 Coilovers

DRIVER INFO: Eric just started racing this C3 in January, 2015.  He’s done quite a few upgrades in that short time, trying to put together a car that will keep up with the big guys, but he’s done very well!  He loves track days and has really enjoyed the Hot Rod Power Tour in years past, and believes the Road Trip will combine the two into something right up his alley.

DRIVER: Marshall Reinert

CAR: 2000 Corvette

DETAILS: LS1, 6spd; Mantic clutch, LG headers, Corsa exhaust, Blackwing CAI, Van Steel bushings, VB&P springs, RideTech shocks, Speedline wheels, BFG tires, and more

DRIVER INFO: Marshall purchased this car in ’05, intending it as a Sunday driver and occasional cruiser…but in 2013, the autocross addiction found him!  Marshall is looking forward to spending this adventure with his father, who will also be attending in his ’99 Corvette convertible.
