Hello!

This letter might seem out of the blue, but it isn’t: it’s the result of your prior inquiry about Cheese Curds franchising opportunities. We’ve been hard at work getting our systems and procedures ready, and we’re now ready to begin franchising.

We’d love to keep in touch, so you’re “in the know” about what we’re up to: we’d like to think of you as part of our Cheese Curds community. (If you’d prefer not to receive future updates, we’re sorry to see you go, but feel free to click on the unsubscribe link at the bottom of this page.)

Now - on to the news!

We’ve updated and improved our website. You can find our franchising information on our “mother brand” page, Chef Inspired, but we’ve kept franchising buttons on the Cheese Curds and Habaneros pages, too.

New franchising option: dual Cheese Curds/Habaneros stores

The new website offers more information on the available opportunities, including the new option of a dual Cheese Curds/Habaneros concept. We believe this dual concept, with more variety in the offering, provides the best of both worlds for our customers (and the success of our original restaurants in the Halifax area confirm it).

Having the two offerings also will provide an excellent return on investment for our franchisees, who’ll enjoy additional sales and profit without having to inject twice the capital up front. If you haven’t visited the franchising section of our website in the last month or so, please check it out!

Eyeing expansion

While we’re open to any opportunity to work with an excellent franchisee in a promising location, our initial plans are to grow close to home. We are actively looking for franchisees in Oromocto, New Brunswick and Moncton, New Brunswick and we are currently scouting locations in both these markets.

We are exhibiting at the Tri-City/Maritime Expo hosted by the Greater Moncton Chamber of Commerce at the Casino New Brunswick in Moncton on April 28, 2016 from 3:30-6:30 p.m. We’ll have a team on hand to talk all things franchising, so if you know of anyone interested in finding out more about our amazing food concepts, please share the invite, admission is free!

Meanwhile, back in Halifax… more cuisine on wheels!

Back at home, to keep our Habaneros Gecko Bus company on the road, we are just about ready to roll out 2 new food trucks, including a new member of the Cheese Curds family: a food truck serving gourmet hot dogs and poutine. This truck will have a permanent location in Halifax, on Spring Garden Road in between Brunswick and Grafton Streets. We have a few new menu items on this truck, and we’re excited to get them out on the street. Who knows, they may make it into the restaurants…

Keeping in touch

We plan to send quick updates like this one every few months, or more often if there’s big news to report. We sincerely hope when you’re in the Halifax area and visit our restaurants, you’ll reach out so we can say hi in person – give us a head’s-up at franchising@chefinspired.ca. We look forward to hearing from you!
