Orleans County Planning Board Meeting Thursday 4/28

Hello, SOS supporters.  As I'm sure you're aware, the Town of Yates held two hearings last week on the proposed "Moratorium on Wind Energy Facilities Law" and the "Local Law to Amend the Wind Energy Facilities Law of 2008."  The hearings were closed at the end of the meeting and the next step is for the Orleans County Planning Board to review the laws.
 

The County Planning Board is expecting a large turnout this Thursday night, April 28.  (See link to an article in the Orleans Hub.)  The venue has been changed to the Carlton Fire Company Recreational Hall, 1853 Oak Orchard Rd., Albion.  The meeting starts at 7 p.m.  Please consider attending to show your support for these proposed laws and the Yates Town Board.

Comments are not typically allowed but be prepared just in case.  Apex did not send any union supporters to last week's meeting, but who knows what will happen this week!
