WACF Approves Elections of Board of Directors for 2016-2017
Two returning and four new board members
|

Willmar, Minn. – The Willmar Area Community Foundation (WACF) announced today approval of the election of Duanie Amundson, Tori Leitch, Jeff Schultz and Chris Newcomer to a first term of three years, Sarah Klaassen to a second term of three years and Diane Shuck to a third term of three years on the Willmar Area Community Foundation Board of Directors. WACF also announced that Diane Schuck has been elected to serve as Secretary and Wayne Nelson has been elected to serve as Treasurer for the board.
The board of directors governs the Willmar Area Community Foundation, conducts marketing and development activities, approves grant decisions and works to engage people, connect resources and build community.
The Willmar Area Community Foundation (WACF) in affiliation with CommunityGiving, is a public charity that attracts and administers charitable funds for the benefit of the local community. Since 1998, WACF has grown to over $16 million in assets and awarded $4 million in grants to local nonprofits.
