Fall Study - Please join us this Fall for Jen Wilkin’s study of I Peter: A Living Hope In Christ. Registration cards can be found in the narthex and the adult Sunday School classrooms. The morning study will begin Tuesday, September 6th, and evening study will begin August 24th during Foundations.

Congregational Meeting, August 14th - The Session has called a congregational meeting on Sunday, August 14th at 10:15am, during the Sunday School hour. The purposes of this meeting will be to 1) Adopt an Amended Certificate of Formation and adopt Amended and Restated Bylaws, 2) elect officers of the corporation, 3) receive an update from the Finance Committee, and 4) hear an update from the Facility Search Committee. All members should plan to attend. Guests are welcome to observe.
INFOCUS Ministry UAH - The INFOCUS international college student ministry is in urgent need of donations of used bicycles which can be refurbished and given to new international students at this year’s “Welcome to U.S.A.” picnic which will be held at the University of Alabama in Huntsville on August 20, 2016. Such a gift can show Christ’s love to these students by helping to meet their need for on-campus transportation. New Members’ Class - If you are interested in joining or learning more about Cornerstone, please join us August 21, 28, Sept. 4, 11. We will meet in the College Classroom downstairs during the Sunday School hour. To register, please e-mail the church office at office@cornerstone-pres.org.
Communicants’ Class - A communicant’s class for children interested in joining Cornerstone will be offered beginning Sunday, August 21st. A parent must attend the class with each child. The class will be on Sundays, 4-5pm. To register your child please email the church office at office@cornerstone-pres.org.
FOUNDATIONS! - New Wednesday night ministry at Cornerstone beginning August 24, 2016. Please make plans to join us for food, fellowship and foundations in God's Word this Fall. There will be discipleship opportunities for children, students and adults.
Wednesday night Foundations meals - Volunteers are still needed to help with Foundations meals on Wednesday nights beginning August 24th. We would like to have 4-6 teams of 2 people working together so you would just serve your meal 2-3 times for the 12 week Fall schedule. The meals are pre-planned, very simple, kid friendly and mostly bought. All paper products and drinks are provided. Responsibilities would be to purchase and serve the meal for the group. We are trying to make it as easy as possible and you would work with a partner. Please contact Gail Kimrey if you could volunteer at Kimrey6@comcast.net.
