The Get Right Band - Who's In Charge? CD -The Get Right Band combine clever and catchy lyrics with fearless improvisation, seamlessly blending elements of rock n' roll, funk, reggae and psychedelia. The Alternate Root has praised the trio for "hip-shaking, earthquaking, pure funk fun," and music fans can catch them on the road beginning in June 2016 right through this fall. The Get Right Band is known for helping to "make Asheville's music scene so vibrant and exciting" (Martin Anderson, WNCW). The trio has performed on the renowned World Cafe, a nationally syndicated NPR show, and was named "Best New Band" of 2015 by Home Grown Music Network and "On The Verge" by Relix.
Gov't Mule - The Tel-Star Sessions CD - In early summer of 1994, while on break from Allman Brothers work, the original Mule line-up of Warren Haynes, Allen Woody, and Matt Abts assembled at Tel-Star Studios outside Sarasota, Florida, to lay down on tape their vision to exhume the rock power trio - their influences ranging from Cream and Jimi Hendrix Experience to Blue Cheer and ZZ Top. What was originally intended to be the band's debut album, but then subsequently shelved until now, these 11 songs are newly mixed and mastered.

Coming Soon

Frank Zappa - Dutch Courage 1980 (2CD) Click for track list. Included here too as bonus cuts are a selection of tracks from the same tour - broadcast from Paris and Munich respectively - as well as an extended 1980 interview with Mike Siegel for Boston TV show 'Five All Night, Live All Night', in which a typically sarcastic yet droll Zappa answers questions from the host and the viewers about his family life, his recent legal troubles and his latest releases. Making in completion a full 160 minute recording across two discs, in quite excellent audio quality throughout, this release will prove a delight for fans and a must have item to add to any decent Zappa collection.

Allman Brothers Band - Almost the 80s (2CD) -  By 1978 moves were afoot to reunite the band, augmented by new guitarist Dan Toler and bassist David Goldflies, to record the much celebrated Enlightened Rogues album, and return to touring. The album was released in February and the recording featured here with the new line-up came on the night before New Year's Eve of the same year - for the record, fact fans, on the actual NYE, the band were performing in New Haven, Connecticut. The new line up is captured here in superb revitalised form, at the Nassau Coliseum, Uniondale, NY on the 30th December 1979, a show broadcast live by WLIR-FM, and presented here complete across 2 CDs.
Stevie Ray Vaughan - Blues You Can Use CD -  Taken from a radio broadcast aired by WMMR FM, of a show performed at the Mann Music Center in Philadelphia on 30th June 1987, this set clearly demonstrates why the legend of Stevie Ray and Double Trouble has been so enduring. Touring seven months after the release of his then last album, Live Alive - a live album which Vaughan himself was admittedly dissatisfied with due to its poor recording, lackluster playing and countless overdubs - this show finds the band on absolute top form. In addition, this is almost certainly the finest quality live audio recording available by this quite extraordinary performer, and includes such classics as 'Couldn't Stand The Weather', 'Scuttle Buttin'' and a staggering 14 minute rendition of 'Life Without You'.

Willie Nelson - New Year's Eve in Houston 1984 (2CD) - When Nelson, Waylon Jennings, Kris Kristofferson, and Johnny Cash formed The Highwaymen in the mid-1980s, they achieved platinum record sales and toured the world. All four Highwaymen - along with Jessi Colter and B.B. King - appeared at the 1984 New Year's Eve show now released for the first time on this 2 x CD set. Something of a spectacular and broadcast across numerous local stations throughout the southern states, this superb performance from Willie and co. set the ball rolling for what was to become an annual event in the Willie Nelson diary and one that still continues to this very day.

Jerry Garcia w/John Kahn - Lonesome Prison Blues CD - This recording was from a show that has often in the past been simply referred to as "Oregon State Pen" or "Jerry in the Big House" and features the duo, with Garcia on acoustic guitar and Kahn on upright bass, playing for a small group of prisoners at the Oregon State Penitentiary on Cinco de Mayo in 1982. The 11 song set includes a nice mix of Grateful Dead tunes, Jerry solo tracks, traditionals, and covers. One of its greatest strengths is how intensely personal the recording sounds.

Prince - Rock in Rio 2 (2 CD) - In 1991, Prince and his band were invited to play two dates as part of Rock In Rio 2, the second edition of the Brazilian-based music festival, the largest in the world. The recording featured here comes from Prince's first appearance at the event, when he headlined proceedings on Friday 18th January. The result, presented here across over two discs, is perhaps one of the finest shows in musical history. With the crowd in the palm of his hand throughout, Prince put on a quite superlative performance, as thrilling as ever, and featured such legendary tracks as 'Purple Rain', 'Kiss', 'Nothing Compares 2 U' and a staggering 28 minutes medley of 'Baby I'm A Star'.

Chris Robinson Brotherhood - Anyway You Love, We Know How You Feel CD / LP Having spent the prior two years touring relentlessly, the CRB were road-tested and in peak form to capture their kinetic chemistry and immersive sound, which Uncut Magazine called, "...a celebration of how American musical traditions can be at once honored and psychedelically expanded."

"It was an opportunity to see where our expression could take us. For us, when it comes to making records, the looser it gets the better," says Robinson. "It's all about taking our intuition and following it to where our ideas can really manifest themselves. This turned out to be the most spontaneous record I've ever been a part of."

Hip Bones - The Moose Lodge Sessions CD - Bad long before The Bad Plus, Hip Bones has been called "renegade jazz," "psychedelic funk," and "monsters of the mash-up." The band continues to push the boundaries of jazz on The Moose Lodge Sessions.

Co-produced by woodwind man Gary Schwantes and drummer Robin Tolleson, and utilizing the group's two touring bassists, Jake Wolf and Shannon Hoover, the new album revisits tunes by Radiohead and The Grateful Dead, and features four dynamic compositions by Schwantes. "We always try to give our audience a chance to use their mind and heart and get out of it what they want," says Tolleson.

Charlie Hunter - Everybody Has A Plan Until They Get Punched In The Mouth CD  - Since 1993, Charlie Hunters mindboggling guitar technique has garnered him fans around the world, critical acclaim and recordings with some of the most prestigious names in jazz and pop.
