that’s what gets results…

NHS Chief, Simon Stevens, supports this plea to address the social care crisis, arguing that “The most immediate need is social care. If home care disappears and care homes close, A&Es are quickly overwhelmed. We need creative solutions.”

Your views matter - The Care Act one year on - survey coming soon!
One year on from the implementation of the Care Act 2014, Think Local Act Personal (TLAP) wants to hear about the experiences of people with care and support needs to find out what difference the Act is making. Is it easy to get information and advice? Do people feel they have choice and control of their care and support? These will be some of the questions asked in the TLAP Survey Your views matter - The Care Act one year on (working title). The results of the survey will be used, alongside information from councils and others to help the Department of Health identify problems and workable solutions to inform future work on the Care Act.
The survey will be launched in early September - watch this space!
