Fall 2016 Team Up for Healthy School Gardens Grant

Join Jamba Juice and KidsGardening.org as we Team Up for Healthy School Gardens in Phoenix, Arizona! The Fall 2016 Team Up for Healthy School Gardens Grant is open to public and private schools serving grades K to 12 that are located in Phoenix, Arizona, including the suburbs of Avondale, Chandler, Gilbert, Glendale, Mesa, Peoria, Scottsdale, Surprise, and Tempe. Recipients will be selected based on plans to promote nutrition education, ideas for incorporating fruit and vegetable-related activities into the curriculum, and the ability to sustain their garden program over multiple years. By the end of 2016, Jamba Juice will have provided close to 250 grants totaling $130,000 for schools and youth gardens. Now that’s a great reason for us all to raise a smoothie! New School Garden Grant From Chartwells K12

Planting the seeds of health and wellness, The 2016 Eat. Learn. Live. and Grow Grant sponsored by Chartwells K12 in partnership with KidsGardening.org offers funding for schools seeking to enhance their curriculum and offer food and nutrition education through an edible garden program. Building on the Chartwells’ eat. learn. live. School Garden Program, a first-of-its-kind comprehensive resource and winner of The 2016 Best Concept Award from Food Management Magazine, this grant opportunity is open to public or private school serving students in grades K to 12 and planning a new or expanding an established garden program. The selection of winners will be based on demonstrated or potential program impact and sustainability in addition to how well the program connects to the theme,
