Summer Hymn Sing! this Sunday Gather in the sanctuary summer Sundays at 9:45 a.m. to sing your favorites from Glory to God and Hear the Prayers That Rise.
Food, Conversation and Community Gather at 11:30 a.m. this Sunday for a no-host lunch at Cha Cha Cha in downtown Milwaukie with Children’s Ministry Coordinator Sabina Shaughnessy and Music Director Kevin Lambert. All are welcome!
Wednesday Night Book Group 5:30 p.m., on Aug. 3 @ MPC. Join in for a small group discussion of Rachel Held Evans’ memoir Searching for Sunday: loving, leaving, and finding the church.
All Ages Art Party@ First Friday Aug. 5 @ 6 p.m. MPC’s first community art party is next Friday. Sabina and her team of volunteers have been hard at work getting things ready – be sure to stop by during Milwaukie’s First Friday event. Friends, family & neighbors welcome too!
School Supply Drive MPC is collecting school supplies for the Wichita Community Center through early August. If you are not able to shop, mark your check for the school supply drive and we will ensure that items are purchased and donated.
Clackamas County Housing Assembly Wednesday, August 3, 7 - 8:30 p.m. at Milwaukie Lutheran Church. Come to this Clackamas Housing Team meeting to discuss and learn about how the faith community can impact the housing crisis in a positive way.
