CEO Newsletter | July 2016

Dear EIT Health partners,

During the last few weeks I had the opportunity to meet many of you in our portfolio 2017 hearings. The external evaluators, our Management Team and myself were honestly impressed by the quality of your proposals and your outstanding enthusiasm. I also acknowledge your feedback about the clear improvement in our evaluation and hearing procedures. In early August we will inform these finalists about the outcomes.

The selected projects will become part of our Business Plan 2017, which is currently being reviewed by the Supervisory Board. Your partners’ delegates will vote on it at our Partner Assembly on 19 September in Amsterdam, for which an invitation to register will be sent in the coming week.

Our EIT Health Summit Programme Committee is building an exciting programme to share the 2016 achievements of our community, to connect around our 2017 activities, and, last but not least, to network and celebrate.

"During the recent portfolio 2017 hearings I could grasp your extraordinary expertise and outstanding motivation to improve our healthcare in Europe. I was personally impressed and reconfirmed that we are on the right path."

Sylvie Bove
CEO EIT Health e.V.
