#SummerSFS: Internships Around the World
Internships are an integral part of the SFS education and prepare students for careers in the international arena. Internships provide students with the opportunity to enhance their academic coursework; gain professional experience and insight into career opportunities; develop contacts in their field of interest; and explore the public, private, and/or non-profit sectors. This year, our MSFS students join the State Department, The US Mission to NATO, UNHCR, Deloitte, among many other organizations. To learn more about what our MSFS students are doing around the world, follow #SummerSFS on Twitter.
Rose Twagirumukiza, MSFS '17 is spending her summer with The Advocacy Project as a Peace Fellow, working with women who have survived sexual violence and empowering these women to become more economically self-sufficient. Read her story here.
