Autumn News
Hello beautiful co-creators!
I cannot believe that it is 31st October!! Happy Halloween! How time is flying! I hope that you are all well, and enjoying good health, happiness and wellbeing, and enjoying all of the beautiful colours and cozy evenings that Autumn brings! The trees are shedding their summer clothes in order to nourish the soil to feed the new plants in the Spring. Apart from today being Halloween, here in the Northern Hemisphere it is the Pagan festival of Samhain, the start of the new year, and the beginning of Winter - but more about that in a bit!
The last few months have set in motion big changes for me, I said in my last email that there were big changes afoot, but I was completely taken by surprise by how quickly these changes began to manifest! (Thank you Universe!). I am moving house, expecting another little one, and my work has taken a change of direction!
With extremely mixed emotions I have decided to bring my work with people with learning difficulties and special needs to an end. This will allow me to have more time to concentrate on other goals and aspirations, and on my new home and growing family! With the time I will gain, I hope to increase my availabilty at Aroma & Gaia, at least until I go on my maternity leave, and in the future I hope to run more workshops, spend more time concentrating on my spiritual work, writing and focusing more on my website, blog and youtube channel. I am also planning to begin studying to become a Life Coach and Mindfulness instructor!
The opportunity has also arisen for me to help out with Naked Dragon's next event at Miskin Manor, Lorna Byrne & Tim Wheater ~ Angels: Gatekeepers of Our Soul on 3rd December!

Now, more about Samhain... this date in the cycle of the year marks the beginning of Winter, the darkest time of the year. It is here we celebrate the power of regeneration, rest & renewal. It is the 'Festival of years end & new beginnings'.
'...as the old year ends and the darkness of winter begins, we welcome the opportunity for a new start as we incubate and strengthen our hopes for the new year. Traditionally, it is an opportunity to honour our ancestors and embrace our roots. Samhain has always been seen as a magical time. The Veil between the seen world of matter and the unseen world of spirit becomes thin, especially at dawn and dusk. This creates opportunities for us to slip through the fabric of space and time, beyond the limitations of our rational mind, and gain wisdom from within'. Glennie Kindred, Earth Wisdom.
So why not spend some time today in contemplation on all the things you have achieved this year, and all of the things you hope to achieve in the coming one... spare a few thoughts for loved ones no longer with us, and know that they are closer today than usual...
