LEADING FROM AND BEYOND THE CLASSROOM TO TRANSFORM THE EDUCATION PROFESSION
We're excited to hear that last Friday, U.S. Secretary of Education John B. King Jr. moderated a panel at the Teach to Lead Teacher Leadership Summit on being a teacher leader without having to leave the classroom.

Secretary King discussed the Department's efforts to promote and support teacher leadership to improve learning for all students. He also recognized the winners of ASCD's first-ever Teacher Impact Grants.
