Wow, it's hot out! I swear I blink and another month has gone by, but what a month July was. One of the busiest months on record for the company. Plus we were very active in the community with Rotary and with our little Ride to end MS! I would like to thank everybody that supported the Panda on the MS Bike Ride, we raised almost $2,500.

I have been asked a few times this past month as to how in the world we are getting so much stuff done. One thing I have to say is if you are passionate about something you will make time to make sure it gets done and it WILL. But, I have found that if you are NOT passionate about something it is best to find somebody that is passionate about it and get them to do the work for you. Sure it costs money but the results can be extremely rewarding.

Oracle – Audit Create Session Logins

I had an interesting security breach the other day where a developer who had sql access to the production environment gave out his access to basically “everybody”. There was a huge panic and at the end of the day, I found a tip from Burleson at dba-oracle.com that showed that you can easily turn on auditing for session creation and it gives a wonder account of the people that are failing to login because of the changed credentials.

Panda + Community - July 2016

We cooked and Peddled our way through the month of July and had an absolute blast doing so.

The Panda got to celebrate birthday #42 by cycling 154km (~100miles) from Grandbend Ontario to London Ontario and back. We are part of team Butt Ugly and we have raised almost $30,000 this year to help end MS.
