Women's Ministry: Final Summer Salad Supper
Our final Summer Salad Supper is tonight, July 26, with Ashley Senn speaking at the home of Kristen Sartelle (119 Hillsdale Rd, 35213). Join us for food, fellowship, and a story of God’s faithfulness.

Summer Choir
If you've ever wanted to find out what it's like to sing in the choir, next Wednesday is your chance! Join Rick and the choir August 3, 6:15-7:30 p.m., in room S103 (Choir Room) to rehearse for Sunday morning, August 7. No auditions and no long-term commitment required! Come next Wednesday and find out what serving with the choir is all about.

Family Promise Live Auction
Family Promise of Birmingham's annual live auction fundraiser will be held July 28 from 6:00-9:00 p.m. at Rosewood Hall in Homewood. Tickets are $40 in advance and $50 at the door and includes food and beverages. Funds raised are used to support homeless families in our city. Children's Ministry News
Elementary Sunday School Volunteers | Sign Up. It's that time of year again to volunteer in our Elementary Sunday School Classes! We are in need of volunteers for crowd control in our 2nd-5th grade classes. We have Sunday School teachers lined up, but ideally we would like to have two adult volunteers per class each week along with the teacher. If just eight families per grade sign up, each family would only serve two times during the semester. If you have any questions, please email Deanna Misner at deannamisner@gmail.com. VOLUNTEER today.
Preschool Volunteers | Would you like to teach our 3, 4, or 5 year old kids this fall for only three months (August 21-November 20)? Please contact Katie Flores at kflores@covpres.com if you are interested. Katie can pair you up with a co-teacher or you can bring along a friend to help. Katie will also find a substitute if you need to miss a Sunday. Thanks for considering serving our church in this way!
Promotion Sunday Coming Soon | Children will promote to their new Sunday School classrooms and Children's Worship rooms on August 21! As we pray for this new semester, we are excited about all the Lord has planned for our children this fall. PCA Women's Conference: Transformed Birmingham

September 9-10 the PCA is holding a Regional Women’s Conference at Briarwood for women across the Southeast. Women from our area, including Heather Hagins and Julie Sparkman, will be sharing in the Breakout Sessions. Marriage Conference with Paul David Tripp

We have been invited to attend a marriage conference with Paul David Tripp August 19-20 at Shades Mountain Baptist Church. We're excited about the potential of this weekend to strengthen marriages across our city and to promote gospel-centered marriage enrichment in our community. Tickets are $15 per person, and Shades Mountain Baptist is providing childcare at no cost to ticketed attendees until they run out of space. Gospel Manhood
Men, our Gospel Manhood lunch-and-speaker events kick off Tuesday, August 16 with Bob Flayhart, Senior Pastor of Oak Mountain Presbyterian Church, speaking. Lunch will begin at 11:30 a.m. We will meet the third Tuesday of each month, August-November, and our speakers include Gil Kracke of Covenant Counseling and Lee Burns, Headmaster of The McCallie School in Chattanooga, TN.

Covenant Kitchen Pick-Up Meals
Each week our Covenant Kitchen staff cooks up a yummy meal for Tuesday pick up. The meals are $25 each and feed 4-6 people. You must order the meals by 5:00 p.m. on Mondays, and you can pick up your order on Tuesdays any time between 12:00 noon and 6:00 p.m.
August 2 menu: Greek Pitas (Greek-seasoned chicken slices, tzatziki sauce, Greek salad, lettuce, pita); BONUS small chocolate cake
