Dear ESP Members and Friends,
 
ESP is happy to co-host the first European Ecosystem Services Conference in Antwerp on 19-23 September, jointly organised with two European Union funded projects (OpenNESS and OPERAS) and ECOPLAN, a 4-year project funded by the Flemish government. It promises to be another very interesting and well-attended conference (over 450 abstracts submitted in 40+ sessions) and again almost all ESP working groups are organising a session, or are involved in other ways. We hope to welcome you there!

To make use of the opportunity to get together we scheduled an ‘ESP member session’ on Thursday, 22 September, 17:30 – 18:30. This will be an informal session and we would like it to be as interactive and useful as possible for our members, friends and anyone else interested to join our community. So please let us know if you would like to make use of this opportunity to share your thoughts, questions and suggestions about ESP (either as agenda-item for EC/SC members to address and/or as a short presentation/intervention by yourself).

Please send your suggestions (email Dolf and Martine) by 1 September latest and based on your reactions we will prepare a program to make the best out of this short time together.

Since our session is scheduled at the end of the afternoon we hope to continue the discussion afterwards over some drinks & bites.
