For Robyn, it was love at first sight. “I think it was for him too.”

Robyn, who previously owned pure breeds, hadn’t had a cat for about three years and found that she missed the company. This time, she decided to go with a rescue organization because she wanted a cat with a great personality. During her first call with ACR, the volunteer she spoke with thought she knew a cat who was a match for Robyn – and she was right.

Cayenne and her kittensWe are raising money to help cats like one-year-old Cayenne.
This family is currently in an ACR foster home. After Lark, Bay and Tiger Lily are weaned, mama will be spayed and found a forever home. Her days of having kittens on the streets are over.

Nike is a boisterous fella who likes nothing more than to hang around with his human owner. He enjoys lots of attention, whether energetic playtime with the cat wand or strokes around his ears. He does not, however, enjoy the company of other cats!

Forces rally to capture Charlie, the accidental fugitive

During an attempted trip to the vet, Charlie escaped from his carrier and fled into a forested area around the Humber River. It took four weeks, three ACR volunteers and a very commited family to bring him home.

Toronto caretakers who attend the workshop will be eligible for access to the new Toronto Animal Services (TAS) & Toronto Humane Society (THS) free spay/neuter clinics for ferals, equipment loans, expert advice and more! If you live outside of Toronto, services at Toronto Street Cats Spay Neuter Clinic and Toronto Humane Society are still available for your ferals.
