This month has been non-stop Christmas in July - making projects, creating tutorials, sharing posts and giveaways.

I've updated and made my tute for a hidden zipper pillow even easier, there's a new quilt pattern too that's perfect for the winter months (not so much for the heat many of us are suffering now!) and I've shared how to make your own fabric cards along with more tutes and tips as you'll see below.

I'm keen to get this newsletter out to you while the two giveaways on my blog are current and you still have time to enter.

Don't fear the minky! In this tute we'll cover how to back a quilt with minky, spray basting, cutting to size, hand quilting, laundering and even cleaning your machine and cutting mat afterwards.

How do I press my seams, open or to the side? I actually do both. How do I decide when to use which method? I share my pros + cons list of both methods with you.

A pressed open seam can't be nested, what should you do now? This photo tutorial will help you on your way to accurately matching those open seams.

I've designed 2 pillow patterns to showcase the Craft Paper Christmas fabrics in the Windham Fabrics giveaway. Instructions for both covers are included and I'll talk about how I hand quilted them too.

I'm sharing my fave sewing box notion making this updated photo tutorial version of my original hidden zipper tute even easier. I'll also show you how to adapt pillow corners to eliminate empty 'bunny ears'.
