Face of Manufacturing credits his success to his father
Benjy Holt learned everything about customer service, presentation, and patience by accompanying his dad on his cracker routes as a child in Hawskinsville, GA. Then from joining the Navy to starting a career in manufacturing, Benjy learned about accountability and how to demonstrate his knowledge and his value to an organization.
Now as the engineering/maintenance/tooling manager, at the Graphic Packaging International, Perry, GA plant, Benjy leads a team of 40, helping to align his team’s vision with Graphic Packaging’s goals.
By staying true to his values, keeping a strong work ethic, and continuing to learn from his team, Benjy has become a true leader at his company. He says, “Until I stepped foot in my first manufacturing plant, I never considered working in industry.” He continues, “I did not choose this as a career. However I do believe it chose me and it’s a perfect fit.”
