On Behalf of Dean & Kim
Roy & Margaret Fitzwater,
Co-Directors, Navigator Church Ministries
We have the privilege of walking and working alongside a wonderful couple that God has called to serve through The Navigators. Dean serves us in two different roles. He works in the Lifelong Laborers Sphere (including Navigator Church Ministries—NCM) shaping our communications, including branding, development of the website, serving as a blog contributor—in fact, read Dean's "Prayer Priority" blog here, with a practical plan to pray every day in 2015. He also serves as a Navigator Representative in NCM in the field working with churches.
In addition to regular life-to-life and small group meetings, among his NCM activities, Dean recently joined us in co-leading the "Discipling Others" workshop, engaged in our year-long coaching process, attended Coach Camp and is now a certified coach, is working with a local church to develop a disciplemaking pathway, and leads a regular Bible study at Nav headquarters to help staff members "to know Christ and to make Him known" in their churches, homes, and neighborhoods. Whew, we're out of breath just reading about all he is doing! What's more, we know Kim is actively involved in regular ministries, and together they are vitally involved in their church's marriage ministry. We are writing to you to ask for your assistance as they labor for Christ in the Rocky Mountain Region.
Dean and Kim are gifted and experienced workers who have and will continue to make a difference for Christ in many individual lives and local churches. As an organization, The Navigators sees Dean and Kim as key future players in our work. We are delighted for them to be part of our team NCM team after serving with The Navigators and other parachurch ministries over the past 25-plus years.
As Dean expands his ministry with NCM, this requires him to raise support—just as all other Navigator field staff—through donor income they raise from friends like you. If you aren't yet a part of their team, may we strongly encourage you to consider joining? We are writing to see if you would prayerfully consider helping with ongoing financial support and/or a special gift for the Ridings’ ministry.
Like almost all Kingdom workers, the Ridings’ greatest need is for monthly financial partners. Would you please prayerfully consider a gift in the $50 to $200 per month range? You can make a gift to the Ridings’ Navigator ministry account by mailing a check or by going online to their NavStaff website, where you can set up an electronic fund transfer or make a gift by credit card. Giving by electronic transfer is what most people do, and this makes it so easy.
In closing, thank you for your past support and for whatever gift God might lead you to make right now. It is a privilege to co-labor with Dean and Kim. And we want you to know what key members of our team they are as we seek to continue to advance the Gospel of Jesus and His Kingdom into the nations!
