2014 var ett intensivt år - rikt på möten och utbyten med nya och gamla vänner och kollegor, och drömmar som realiserades. Tack till alla som delade upplevelser med oss!
UtomhusproduktionenJuniperus, som framfördes på Axvalla Hed under åtta augustikvällar, var den största utmaningen på alla sätt. Liksom den mest storslagna drömmen. Med totalt 15 dansare samt ljudkonst framförd live blev mötet mellan danskonst och hedens enbuskar och särpräglade natur verkligt - och magiskt.
I november ägnades Gun Lunds konstnärskap en hel eftermiddag på Uppsala Konsert & Kongress. Inom serien K.R.O.P.P. iscensattes olika delar av byggnaden med utdrag ur sammanlagt fem av Gun Lunds dansverk. I programmet ingick även videovisning och samtal mellan Gun och curatorn SU-EN.
Inför 2015 ser vi fram emot nya positiva utmaningar. Inte minst den kommande produktionen The Seven Continents i samarbete med världsberömda gitarrduon The Gothenburg Combo bestående av David Hansson och Thomas Hansy.

Väl mött under 2015!
Gun Lund är koreograf, verksam inom det samtida dansområdet sedan drygt 30 år. Hon är konstnärlig ledare för ensemblen E=mc2 Danskonst och skapar dansverk för scen, liksom site specifics inomhus och utomhus. Tillsammans med Lars Persson och Olof Persson driver hon dans- och konstscenen 3:e Våningen i Göteborg.
E=mc2 Danskonst verkar med stöd av Statens Kulturråd, Konstnärsnämnden, Kulturförvaltningen i Göteborgs Stad och Västra Götalandsregionen.
2014 proved an intense year - rich in meetings and exchanges with new and old friends and colleagues, and dreams that came true. Thank you all who shared experiences with us!
The outdoors production Juniperus performed at Axvalla Hed in West Sweden on eight August evenings, was by far the largest challenge. And also the most spectacular dream. With a total of 15 dancers and sound art performed live, this meeting between contemporary dance and the striking heath landscape with juniper trees was realized – and became pure magic.
In November a whole afternoon was dedicated to the artistry of Gun Lund at Uppsala Konsert & Kongress / performance series K.R.O.P.P. Different parts of the building were staged with excerpts from five of Gun Lund’s choreographies. Videos and an artist talk between Gun and curator SU-EN completed the programme.
For 2015 we anticipate new, positive challenges. Not least the upcoming
production The Seven Continents, in collaboration with world renowned guitar duo The Gothenburg Combo, i. e. David Hansson and Thomas Hansy.

Choreographer Gun Lund has been working within the contemporary dance field for more than 30 years. She is artistic director of E=mc2 Dance and creates dance works for stage, as well as site specifics both outdoors and indoors. Together with Lars Persson and Olof Persson she runs the dance and art venue 3:e Våningen in Gothenburg.
E=mc2 Dance receives funding from the Swedish Arts Council, Swedish Arts Grants Committee, Cultural Committee City of Göteborg and Cultural Affairs Region Västra Götaland.
