Share what makes your community the best in Canada.

Eastman Tourism is encouraging you to share what makes your community the best in Canada as part of Canadian Living’s 40^th anniversary celebration. Each week in 2015, Canadian Living will feature a Canadian community as nominated by readers. They want to know what makes you proud of your community (from the scenery to the people), what visitors should see and do when they visit your community, where visitors should eat, and photos that show off the place you love. Visit the Canadian Living website to nominate your Manitoba community. If your community is featured, do let us know so we can share your community spirit.

Experiential tourism is the buzz word.

Developing tourism products and services that appeal to target markets is crucial as today's travelers seek more compelling experiences. Tourism products and services should engage visitors, tap into their passions, connect them with locals, increase social interaction and shared experiences, and provide opportunities to learn.

Like many other businesses in Manitoba, winter is a good time to plan and develop new experiences for visitors to our region. What ideas and partnerships are you developing?

Also go to www.travelmanitoba.com and click on submit your event. This is a great opportunity to increase traffic to your event or your web site. Be sure to include a good quality photo.
