Want to volunteer, grow your own food, or be healthier in 2015?

Please fill out our volunteer form to let us know when you want to come learn with us. We'll teach you about growing your own food, sustainable agriculture, and healthy lifestyles. Of course, we also have tons of fun. This is not a formal commitment, it just helps us schedule our volunteer hours at times that work for you!

MLK Day of Service: Friday, Jan. 23, 10 - 3pm

Here's how we are kicking off 2015! In one big day, we will be building raised beds for winter production in the hoop house, we will be planting seeds in the greenhouse, and we will be celebrating with pizza cooked in our earthen oven. There is nothing like a warm afternoon in the greenhouse on a dreary January day! Let us know if you are coming, by RSVPing here.

If you bring a pizza topping and a smile, we'll bring the dough and the earthen oven expertise.

Time to Buy Your Seeds

Now is the time to sit in front of a fire with a cup of hot chocolate dreaming about what you will plant in your garden this spring. In fact, you can order your seeds now! Edible Portland has compiled a list of Northwest Companies that are cultivating seeds best suited to this region. Check it out here. Johnny's Selected Seeds has a beautiful catalog that is also worth checking out.
