Clinical nutrition app Nutrify is one of six startups transforming patient care. The app creates customizable meal plans based on clinical data and patient history for personalized results. MedCity News

Denver-based RxREVU is leveraging technology and big data to make prescriptions more affordable. The prescription optimization service is free for consumers through insurance providers, health apps (such as through fellow StartUp Health company Yingo Yango) or directly on RxREVU’s website. 5280 Magazine

StartUp Health company Tute Genomics names Healthcare Transformer David Mittelman as Chief Scientific Officer! Before joining the genome analytics company, Mittelman co-founded StartUp Health company Arpeggi, which was acquired by Gene by Gene in August 2013. Bio-IT World

So far, digital health companies have raised $15.1M in 2015, according to StartUp Health Insights. Here are a few of the most recent deals:

StartUp Health company Caremerge raised $4M from GE Ventures, Cambia and more to grow its care coordination platform. The Chicago-based startup will use the funding to expand its HIPAA-compliant software, which connects senior care centers to authorized stakeholders for the best possible care. TechCrunch

Wellness startup Noom raised $15M for continued research and development of its multiple apps. The company has three separate apps focused on nutrition, fitness tracking and health coaching respectively. MobiHealthNews

Patient navigation software startup Wellbe landed $2.4M to expand to specialities beyond orthopedics. The round, funded by angel investors, will allow Wellbe to move into pain management, spinal procedures and cardiovascular health. MedCity News
