Are You An Architect for Change?

I love that saying "Be the change you wish to see in the world." Have you ever wondered if you are an architect for change? I know I have. For example, I often wonder:

  • Am I doing enough in my corporate job to bring about positive change?
  • Am I doing enough in my community to bring about the change I wish to see?
  • Am I doing what I need to do for my family and with my friends to transform situations in the most positive way?

I recently read that Gandhi had 10 Rules for Changing the World.

They are:

1) Change yourself.
2) You are in control.
3) Forgive and let it go.
4) Without action, you aren't going anywhere.
5) Take care of this moment.
6) Everyone is human.
7) Persist.
8) See the good in people and help them.
9) Be congruent, be authentic, be your true self.
10) Continue to grow and evolve.

My plan for 2015 includes being an architect for change at work, in my community and in my family. How about you?

Best,
Tracy

Go Beach!

The sand and surf always soothes my soul - et tu? This is my husband Donald and me in the Grand Bahamas last year enjoying the scenery at our niece's destination wedding. We had a private dinner at a local restaurant on the beach with the wedding party. This year we hope to travel to new and different locations. It's one of our favorite things to do. So what do you have planned for 2015?
