2015 TACL Midterm Conference
January 16th-19th, 2015
Happy New Year! The National Midterm Retreat in LA is just around the corner, and we're looking forward to seeing everyone there. Have you bought your tickets yet?

In addition, honorees for the Gala on Sunday will be newly-minted Laker Jeremy Lin; our friends, the producers of Linsanity the movie; and Congressman Ted Lieu.

TICKETS
Ticket prices will go up for late registration after Jan 10, so buy your tickets on Eventbrite now! And don't forget to fill out your travel information in the Google spreadsheet. Remember to indicate what Monday activity you want to join.
LODGING
If you haven't booked your hotel room at the Westin Bonaventure, room rates may have gone up. Please call Lisa Lifton at (213-612-4769) or email her at lisa.lifton@westinbonaventure.com.

TAP-LA's website has been updated with details about Midterm, and make sure you've joined the Facebook Group to get the latest information. Talk to your Presidents/Directors to join the group and stay updated with the latest news!
FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE
If you're interested in attending Midterm and need financial assistance, TACL is offering a need-based financial assistance program. Please discuss with your respective Presidents/Directors (as we will consult them), and then fill out the request form. You will be notified by Jan 12th, Monday, whether your request will be provisioned.
WHAT TO WEAR
a. Conference day program: comfortable clothing appropriate for indoor and outdoor activities (LA weather will be vary between 50F to 70F)
b. Sat night clubbing attire: ladies, no specifications, casual with nice jeans/top is fine or cocktail attire; gentlemen must wear dress shoes and collared shirts
c. Sun gala attire: black tie option - ladies, long evening gowns or cocktail attire; gentlemen, tux or dark suit with jacket with tie/bowtie
MONEY
Please remember to bring money for Saturday dinner and Monday metro ($5) if you are taking part in the metro-based tour. As an FYI, your $95 registration includes Friday night welcome mixer, breakfast/lunch for Sat and Sun, admission to Sat night club, Sun night gala and all Sat/Sun daytime conference programming.
