Church Ministry News
We have been able to visit a few more churches here in the States developing new relationships and strengthening those we had. We praise the Lord for the faithfulness of so many churches who are seeking to serve the Lord. As a means to continue ministering in Peru even while in the States, I am working on launching a podcast series in Spanish early in 2015. Please pray that I can finalize the tehnical details and the content for the podcast series. I will send more information with a lnk to the podcast (for those that understand Spanish) in the beginning of February.
School Ministry News
The school year for the schools in Peru has come to a close and preparations are being made for the new school year which begins in March. I have continued consulting and helping with some of the decisions as I can through skype and other means. I have also continued developing the software for the Christian schools in Peru and will be working towards implementing parts of it as a beta during this next school year.
Family News
We have enjoyed spending time with family and friends. We were able to spend Thanksgiving with the Bucknams, dear friends in Pennsylvania and spent Christmas with my parents, sister and her daughter in Oklahoma.
After a second round of testing, Debbie’s test results have come back positive for Chronic Lyme Disease and a secondary infection called Bartonella which complicates the treatment for the Lyme. After a church presentation this Sunday here in Oklahoma, we will be traveling back to Pennsylvania on Monday and Tuesday. Debbie will be meeting with the her doctor on Thursday to discuss the specific course of treatment that will need to be followed. We'd really appreciate your prayers. Average treatment is 1-2 years and we are still hoping to be back in Peru by this July. Much will depend on if the treatment is something we will be able to follow in Peru and the progress that is made during these next few months. For those desiring more information, I am including a link with more information about the disease.
