Five Questions to Spark Change
If curiosity can be described as a combination of creativity, inquisitiveness and openness to experience, I would have to say that I am insatiably curious about everything these days. I believe that the only way to truly get to know the "real" you is to dig in. Just for fun I am sharing a few questions to get you thinking in the new year. Of course you don't have to answer any of them, but if you do, you might be surprised at what your answers uncover. Going deep is the best way I know to begin reconnecting with your true self.
READY - SET - GROW
1. Think back to the last time you were totally at peace and able to just be quietly at ease in your own body. What were you doing or what had you just done? (Hint: you need to do more of it!)
2. Finish this statement: Someday I will _____________________.
Now think of one step you can take next week toward accomplishing this. (Hint: it can be a baby step and still be counted as forward motion.)
3. Choose three words that best describe you. (Hint: try not to describe yourself the way others always do.)
4. Fill in the blanks. I wish I was more _______________ and that I didn't _____________. (Hint: the beginning of a new year is a great time to break a bad habit).
5. At this point in your life, what or who motivates you? (Hint: there is no wrong answer.)
