1) 2015 Membership Pledge Drive

Are dog parks important to your dog's well-being and overall socialization? Do you value having nice dog parks in your community?

If your answers are "yes" and "yes", then we need you to show your support in the form of an annual membership donation to our efforts.

We ask members to make an annual pledge (tax-deductible) of $25 (per family not per dog) to support one of our dog parks. We also offer a passport membership of $40 to support both Vineyard and Sherwood Dog Parks. You can click here to download a donation form for your annual pledge. Upon receipt of your donation, we will mail you a dog tag(s) to attach to your dog's collar or leash. Optionally, visit our website at www.parks4pups.org and use our PayPal link to donate with your credit card.

Many thanks to those of you who have renewed your annual membership and your commitment to our efforts. As you know, our dog parks rely on donations to fund all maintenance and park improvements. We are eager to start on several projects in 2015 which depending entirely on your donations.

Thank you so much for your continued friendship and support.

2) "Paving for Paws" Campaign for Sherwood Dog Park Update
The granite pathways at Sherwood Dog Park have deteriorated with heavy usage and we are faced with having to make an expensive repair way ahead of schedule. After much research, we have determined the best solution to ensure safety and accessibility is to concrete these areas. The price tag is a sobering $10,000. We are launching a “Paving for Paws” capital campaign. We hope that you will consider making a donation above and beyond your annual membership pledge to help fund this project for 2015.

You can donate using a credit card or PayPal account from our website at www.parks4pups.org or by check. Click here for a donation form and mail in instructions.

3) New hospitality bar at Vineyard Dog Park and new steel roof at Sherwood Dog Park
A couple of park improvements are underway at our dog parks. The hospitality bar at Vineyard Dog Park is being repaired and reinforced to better handle the elements. You'll soon see a new improved bar with a galvanized and powder coated steel cover on the wood structure. When finished, we'll be sure to schedule a coffee social to christen the return of a favorite gathering point in the park.

One of our supporters has worked with Nunno Corporation to get us a very generous offer to replace the sunscreen at Sherwood Dog Park with solid steel roof over the shade structure at cost with free installation. Material has been ordered and the new roofing should be in place in early January. Many thanks to Nunno and to Judy and Sterling Diamond.

4) "Best in Show" film and "yappy hour" social, Wednesday, February 4 at 6  pm, Park Cinemas in Paso Robles
