CNCDA Economic Impact Survey Due February 13
Please complete your survey with 2014 data

Data gathered from the CNCDA survey will be published in a 2015 Economic Impact Reporta useful tool for dealers to use when you meet with elected officials to promote the value of new car dealers.  The survey data is essential to help us preserve, protect and advance your rights as franchised new car dealers.

As always, individual survey information will be kept strictly confidential and will only be reported in aggregate with other dealers.  To be statistically valid and truly reflect the tremendous economic contributions of your dealerships, it is important that all dealers complete the survey.

SMCDA's Greg Timmons among honorees

Northwood University will recognize seven leading supporters of educational initiatives and learning within the automotive marketing industry, including Greg Timmons, SMCDA's immediate past president, with its prestigious Automobile Dealer Education Award during the annual National Automobile Dealers Association (NADA) convention in San Francisco.

These professionals will receive their honors during a special awards breakfast on Saturday, Jan. 24. The dealers are recognized for their individual contributions and efforts to improve education at all levels. Since 1972, Northwood has recognized individuals in the automotive marketing field who have made noteworthy contributions to public or private education inside or outside of the industry.

“Northwood University established this award to offer a singular mark of recognition for the dealer who makes a worthwhile contribution to education, his or her community, and his or her nation,” notes Keith A. Pretty, president and CEO of Northwood University.

“These honorees have devoted immense energy and time to promoting and supporting education in the automotive marketing sector and beyond.”

A practical guide to keep your prospects "in the net" until you can greet them on the showroom floor

Mark Rodriguez, of Auto Client Care, Inc, has developed just such a game plan for auto retailers and she will share it with DealersEdge members during a special Webinar presentation.

You will learn:
  • The Steps for Setting a Showroom Appointment
  • How to create and use professional scripts to support your game plan
  • The Essential Elements for building your value story over the phone
