Executive Director's Update
We are ringing in the New Year with thanks for community support received in 2014 that helped our consumers in so many ways.
Special shout-outs go to our many supporters including:
- Cathedral of Faith for providing a bag of groceries weekly to every hungry participant
- Rebuilding Together Peninsula and SummerHill Homes for renovating our 6 unit apartment building in Sunnyvale and brightening the homes of many participants
- Endue Foundation and Mission City Community Fund for supporting costs to relocate the Day Program to a beautiful new and expanded space with dedicated activity rooms for music, art, crafts, computer skills, respite, cooking and more
- The Board of Directors and many other volunteers who generously contribute time and expertise every day
- Elected officials including Sam Liccardo, Mark Stone, Xavier Campos, Jim Beall, Anna Eshoo, Paul Fong, Jerry Hill and others who represent us and actively advocate for the independence and dignity of people with disabilities
- Friends at the San Andreas Regional Center who give their heart and soul to plan, coordinate and fund essential services for individuals with disabilities
- Our participants, who bring us much joy, affection and appreciation
