A Vision for 2015 and beyond
Welcome to 2015, a year of growth and abundance for us all. God has led us so faithfully to this time in our journey and He is not finished with us yet. We are so excited about this year and all that He has already promised for us.
Please be in prayer with all of us for our goals listed below:
  1. Evangelism – Sharing the gospel of Jesus Christ with 100,000 people and through prayer asking God for 40,000 new professions of faith.
  2. Cell/Small Groups – to continue to teach the principles of Acts 2:42-47 and facilitate the start, growth and expansion of cells where God blesses.
       Goal – 2000 new cell groups and 4000 by multiplication.
  1. Leadership Training – To continue to provide leadership training to:
  1. Pastors
  2. Businessmen
  3. Government
  4. National Police and more
  5. Increase our Central America Leader to Leader network
       Goal – 5000 new trainees 
       Goal - Leader to Leader Bulletin 1000 new names
  1. Children – to continue and increase our efforts to reach needy children with food, clothes, schooling, and especially a personal relationship with Jesus Christ.
       Goal – Start seven new feeding programs to include the above.
 
  1. Discipleship – to increase our efforts to encourage churches to make discipleship on purpose a priority.
       Goal – 20,000 new converts to receive training.
  1. Proposed New Ministries
  1. Provide funding for five pastors, who will also be mentored one on one by me.
  2. To Provide more clothes to the poor
  3. New employees in Nicaragua and Honduras to help meet the needs
  4. Construction projects: Homes for the homeless, new churches and feeding centers.
  5. Baseball and Martial Arts ministry
  6. Provide ongoing English classes
  7. Others
Welcome to our Staff
Pastor Bryan and Dana McKnight, who will function as our Staff Evangelist, mainly in Northern Nicaragua. Bryan and his wife, Dana, have heard God’s call to missions, and chose OEM to serve with in Central America. God is good.


Dates Open
We have plenty of good dates open for 2015 for teams to visit and be a part of the miracles of Central America. Contact us by email at openeyes2ca@comcast.net or by Facebook. We also have some building projects ready to begin soon.

Needs for 2015

In order to be able to accomplish our goal for 2015, we have many needs. We are praying that, with your and the Holy Spirit's help, we can make these a reality.

Please pray God will provide the following:
 
Laborers
Increased finances
Increased prayer
More teams
Miracles
Good health, energy, and strength
New truck as we no longer have a truck for transportation 

 


Prayer Requests

  • More professions of faith
  • More workers on the field both nationals and North Americans
  • Financial blessings for living expenses and salaries, etc. for OEM staff
  • Arlene’s mother, who is presently in the hospital in Knoxville
  • Money to help buy a new truck when we return in January.
  • Terry and Arlene’s health and strength. We know that satan would like to see us unable to continue on the field, so please pray for a hedge of protection around us.
  • OEM Staff all over Central America
  • Mission teams that will be coming in 2015 to Honduras, Nicaragua, and Costa Rica
