Clarity is Good
Are you doing what brings you joy?
Does your work align to your values?
Are you pursuing your passions?
Since starting my business as dailyARC Coaching and Consulting (almost two years ago!), I've been on a journey to discover my true self, my passions, my core values, my vision, and and my purpose. Through this journey, I tuned in to what I enjoy doing the most and what types of clients I most enjoyed working with. I've gained clarity on who I really want to be serving, and how. I changed the logo for my business in late 2013, and now am midway through a name change for my business too. The logo and the new name together now clearly represent who I am trying to serve and how I want to help people (you can read a summary in the "What I Do" box below, and learn more on my updated website).
We are all inundated with information from multiple sources. I know that your reading time is limited and valuable. I also see many resources that give suggestions for what to do, what not to do, how to change, and more. The last thing I want to do is to be one more data source for this type of information.
I also know how hard it can be to make the changes we truly desire. My intention for all the writing I do this year, which includes this newsletter, is to share bits of my story with you. It's helpful to know that we are not alone in our journey; that there are other people out there who may be struggling with the same (or similar) stuff. I hope that by sharing my own story, it will help you stretch your own comfort zone and lean into your vulnerabilities and fears. I hope to inspire you to become the *you* that you were meant to be.
I am so blessed and grateful that you signed up for this newsletter and I hope that it will offer value for years to come!

Setting Intentions that Work For You
In a previous blog post, I wrote about the difference between future-focused goals, which don't work for everyone, and intentions.
My view of intentions is that they are more focused on the present than on a specific result in the future. Intentions resonate more with me, because they draw from and align to our innermost desires and aspirations for who and how we want to be.
This year, I'm letting go of the expectation to set specific goals. My attention will go to my intentions, my priorities, living my values, following my passions. I know what I want to bring more of into my life, and I'll be open to receiving it when it comes.
I don't want to be so busy pursuing tactical goals that I miss the moments that matter. Because at the end of the day, at the end of life, I want to be able to look back at my life with appreciation, not regret.
