Capturing dimensions and other line or point objects using Augview

With Augview you can now not only capture point objects such as a water valve or a gas meter, but you can also now capture line objects such as a gas main, fiber or any other pipe, duct or cable object including dimensions.

In this video we will show you how easy it is to capture line objects with an external GPS unit. Any captured data will go straight to your GIS server once it's been saved unless you have integrated an additional authorisation process into your GIS platform.

Introducing Niels Videbeck, Global Partner Manager

As the latest new hire at Augview I thought I should briefly introduce myself and share with you why I have joined this small innovative team.

After 20 years working for multinational IT companies both here and in North America, mainly in the Telco, Utility sector - I am convinced that no one organisation can develop and deliver the best customer experiences/outcomes by working alone.

Only by building a community or ecosystem around our customers can we exceed their expectations in the long term and therefore enjoy a mutually beneficial relationships as a result. With this in mind, the opportunity to demonstrate how Augview can partner with the traditional players in this sector to deliver better results and outcomes for all concerned proved irresistible.

Feel free to make contact if we can help in anyway and I look forward to working with each of you.

Click here to send Niels an email, or give him a call on +64 2 184 7777.
