Board of Directors Spotlight

Introducing Jeff Lipp

Jeff Lipp has served on the Board of Directors at CHWC for over 5 years and is the immediate past Chairman of the Board of Directors. During his tenure, Jeff also chaired the Project Development subcommittee, which guides housing and revitalization initiatives at CHWC.

Jeff is a native of Wyandotte County, a graduate of Bishop Ward High School and currently serves as an Associate Vice President of Operations at HDR Constructors, Inc. Jeff is active in his parish, (Church of the Ascension), the Knights of Columbus, Bishop Ward High School student mentoring program and Catholic Charities of Northeast Kansas.

When asked why he volunteers as a Board of Director at CHWC, Jeff states "I have seen the condition of CHWCâ€™s core neighborhoods ebb and flow over the years, and I'm proud to be part of an organization that is truly making change. CHWC creates and sustains quality neighborhoods and housing for so many individuals in the downtown neighborhoods of KCK. These neighborhoods are not just about the houses; they also include community engagement, improvement of parks and alley ways, community gardens, educating prospective homebuyers and other means that truly make a difference in an area. Needless to say, all of these positive changes and efforts make me extremely proud to be part of the CHWC family."
